Reviews

A powerful story with a relevant message; a great balance of historical fiction and Biblical truth. Dayna Eckhardt, MA There is much division and fear of ""the others"" in American communities today. This speaks to the need for a heart of understanding and servanthood. The story is well written and historically researched. I'm hoping for a sequel. Louann Roberts, MDiv

Author Information

Rhonda Chandler was born in California and spent her childhood traveling with her family in Asia Minor, Europe, and all across the United States. In 1979, she graduated from Concordia College, Nebraska (now Concordia University) with degrees in education and history. After teaching at the high school level for several years, she left in order to devote her time to her husband and daughters, and to writing. She now lives in southern Illinois with her family where on Saturday mornings they make breakfast, brew coffee, and talk for hours about all the important things in life. Rhonda also writes contemporary fiction and fantasy fiction, both with spiritual and historical overtones.
