Born in Scotland, Morag emigrated to South Africa when she was 10, but returned to Scotland when she was 16, and has lived there ever since. She has written historical romance, as well as historical fiction more generally, under the names Anne Fraser and Emma Fraser, but as Morag Pringle she writes crime.
