Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationJohn Dixon is a professional geologist who has experience in both civil and mining engineering projects in the UK, Australia and Peru as well as other parts of the world. Recently he has been devoting his time to a number of different aspects of the Great War and his published works include books on Second Battle of Ypres, the siege of Tsingtao and a number of papers and articles. He is a regular visitor to the battlefields of the Great War and is an active member of the WFA. Ritchie Wood is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the metal mining industry in Africa and Malaysia, and has spent over 40 years working overseas. He retired some years ago and completed a doctorate at Swansea University which dealt specifically with the Welsh miners' involvement in the Tunnelling Companies of the Royal Engineers.
