OverviewWally Hope (1947-1975) was a name by which Philip Russell (born Philip Alexander Grahame Russell on 9 August 1947) was known. He was an experimental philosopher of the UK Underground and organizer of the Windsor Free Festival and the Stonehenge Free Festival. This book is a fiery anarchist polemic centered on the story of Phil Russell a.k.a Wally Hope, who was murdered by the State while incarcerated in a mental institution. Wally Hope was a visionary and a freethinker, whose life had a profound influence on many in the culture of the UK Underground and beyond.
