It was a fantastic resource for their age, they really enjoyed the story and it was a great jumping off point for discussions about stereotypes, teamwork and resilience. The questions printed on each page meant it was easy to pick up and just run with as a standalone lesson but there was lots of ideas in the back to develop into more in depth EP lessons. Year 3 teacher Austin Friars School, Carlisle: The children responded well to the questions and I found that even children who are usually less likely to answer were encouraged when reading this story. It was good to have questions throughout the story in order to prompt discussion. As a teacher, I will also say that the additional activities in the back of the book were also really useful. In addition to this, the book would also appeal to parents for the same reasons.
