Table of ContentsReviewsOfficial Review of The Farmer[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of The Farmer by Sam Braidwood.] 4 out of 4 starsI think most people would agree that farming is not merely a profession; it is a way of life. The Farmer is an illustrated children's book written by Sam Braidwood. It follows a typical busy day in the hardworking farmer's life. Every morning, the farmer wakes up at the crack of dawn. His day begins by patting his dog, Rex. After that, the farmer tends to his farming duties, such as feeding the chickens, collecting their eggs, milking the cows, shearing the sheep, taking care of the horse, gathering the grains, and many more daily chores. There is never a dull moment in the farmer's day. The farmer has to repeat his busy routine every day, but he is passionate about everything he does, so he would never want to change anything. I had a lovely time reading this book. I loved the bond between the farmer and his faithful dog, Rex. Throughout the day, Rex assists the farmer with all his duties. This book is inspired by the author's father-in-law, a dedicated farmer. Children will gain a deeper understanding of the hard work that goes into being a farmer after reading this book. This book imparts the value of passion and commitment to whatever one does in life. It will also teach children to be grateful for the food they get. The book has rhyming text, so children will enjoy reading or listening to it. The adorable, colorful, and witty illustrations done by Marina Dajneko will surely grab the children's attention. Also, since the illustrations correspond to the on-page text, children will easily comprehend the narration and will be able to identify different animals. The story flows well and is easy to understand. A touch of humor adds to the charm of this book. This book will be valuable for the children living in urban areas, as they are usually unfamiliar with the responsibilities of a farmer. There is nothing I disliked about this children's book. It is exceptionally well edited, as I did not encounter any errors. I am pleased to rate The Farmer 4 out of 4 stars. The book will be suitable for children below the age of ten. I also recommend it to teachers, parents, and grandparents who enjoy reading books to children. ****** Prarthna 16 Dec 2021, 08:32 "Official Review of The Farmer[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of ""The Farmer"" by Sam Braidwood.] 4 out of 4 starsI think most people would agree that farming is not merely a profession; it is a way of life.
