Overview

The first day of school usually has its excitements, but none like tenth grader James Anderson will experience. His average teen life will be changed when The Facility, a famous but elusive research organization, shows up at his school and offers his grade the opportunity to partake in a three-month study at their headquarters in upstate Minnesota. With the adventure of a lifetime sitting before him, James accepts. But not all adventures are fun. And not everything is what it seems. As the study commences, James begins to grow suspicious of what the project really is about after odd occurrences plague the subjects and secrets begin to form within The Facility's walls. His suspicions are solidified when his friends agree with him and an impromptu investigation goes awry. As the occurrences persist James must find out exactly what is happening inside the walls of The Facility, before these suspicions become actuality, and the real project reaches its outcome.

Author Information

As a young adult pioneer in the field of writing, D.F. has been telling stories since he was a child. As a recent graduate of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, he is using my knowledge to create masterful stories. His writing is influenced by a variety of sources, including his time in the states of Minnesota and Vermont. Growing up reading the works of R.L. Stine, H.P. Lovecraft, and Steven King promoted his love for horror and the paranormal in literature. Being a young adult himself, many of D.F.'s novels and short stories are based on middle-grade or teen protagonists!
