OverviewThis work focuses on the enunciative heterogeneity of proverbial forms in Tiébara country. As an expression of oral literature, the proverb is a tool for transmitting the knowledge, memory and values of a community. Passed down orally from generation to generation, they embody the collective experience and worldview of the Tiébara people. Among the Sénoufo, and particularly the Tiébara, oral tradition plays a central role in understanding history and culture. Proverbs, seen as the ""voice of the nations"", condense ancient wisdom and require mastery of their use, as they are closely linked to truth. The study of proverbs reveals the enunciative richness of these discursive forms, and highlights the importance of the spoken word in preserving cultural identity. This work underlines the fundamental role of oral literature in the construction of the collective memory of the Tiébara people.
