OverviewAn analysis of the existential drama of the protagonist of Lya Luft's Exile, through the symbolic study of the novel's content, which shows the profound meaning of the elements that make up the process of individuation, as explained by Marie Louise von Franz, in Man and His Symbols (2005), a collection of texts on analytical psychology and Jungian thought on the human psyche, based on the archetypes of the collective and personal unconscious during this process, namely: the manifestations of the persona, the shadow, the animus and the Self.
