The Evolution of the American Liberal

Overview

This book provides an important look at the well-being of the current Socialism movement in the United States of America. It is broken into five parts: the history of the framework and foundations of Socialism, an analysis of the major changes that have occurred in the last one hundred years, a look at where Socialism is now in the United States of America, recommendations for saving the Republic from Socialism, and a look at what awaits us in the future of our nation. Each of us examines information through our own prism or worldview (that is to say, our biases, life experiences, etc.). We are all what we are. Our judgments, our filters are a collection of those past judgments and experiences that brings us to any given moment of time when we face information, facts, and opinions that are presented to us. I have tried to be as fair as possible in writing this book. This book is broken into five parts: the founding principles and the history of Socialism in America, including the influence of Liberalism and Progressivism; the current state of our Republic, why we are there and how we can change our path to get our Constitutional Republic back again.

Author Information

Born 1944 in upstate New York, USA. European and American Indian heritage. Enjoyed my childhood and by nature I have always been an independent thinker and wanderer. I moved to California in my early 20s where I finished college, worked in high tech, Silicon Valley and enjoyed my life to the fullest. I have always lived each day in my life like it is my last day, I hope that never changes. I now live as an expat in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico but care deeply about the future of the United States of America !
