Diana Preston is an Oxford-trained historian, writer and broadcaster who lives in London. She is the author of, among other works, The Road to Culloden Moor: Bonnie Prince Charlie and the '45 Rebellion, and A First Rate Tragedy: Robert Falcon Scott and the Race to the South Pole. Elizabeth Sastre was nominated for a Barrymore Award for her starring performance in Camila. Other stage work includes Sweet Bird of Youth, A Dybbuk, Nine, and Carousel. Her TV work includes As the World Turns, and Law and Order.
