Author Information

Julia Donaldson is the outrageously talented, prize-winning author of the world's best-loved picture books, and was the 2011-2013 UK Children's Laureate. Her books include What the Ladybird Heard, Tyrannosaurus Drip and the modern classic The Gruffalo, which has sold over 13.5 million copies worldwide and has been translated into over seventy languages. Twice shortlisted for the CILIP Kate Greenaway Medal, Rebecca Cobb won the Waterstones' Children's Book Prize for her brilliant book Lunchtime. In addition to working on her own books and collaborating with the inimitable Julia Donaldson for Macmillan Children's Books, Rebecca illustrates stories written by Richard Curtis for Puffin.
