Eric Starr (New York, NY) is an accomplished composer, drummer, pianist, and recording artist who has been playing music for more than twenty years. A three-time recipient of the prestigious Meet the Composer Grant, he has played sold-out shows at Lincoln Center. Mr. Starr composed chamber music for NYC productions of William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet, and Macbeth. In addition to having worked as a music journalist and a playwright, he is the author of The Everything(R) Drums Book, The Everything(R) Rock and Blues Piano Book, and The Everything(R) Bass Guitar Book.
