Reviews

Voloshin's book, therefore, offers a welcome contribution to the limited scholarship on this topic. ... Written in an enjoyable, easy-to-read style, this book will appeal to students and scholars interested in learning more about the EU's external relations with regions beyond its immediate borders. For experts on the EU's involvement in Central Asia, however, this book will add little to what they already know. (Fabienne Bossuyt, Europe-Asia Studies, Vol. 68 (7), 2016)
