Overview

These are Hindi words, which have been absorbed in the English language creating a bridge between the two different cultures which are being explained in English for posterity, inquisitive people and for them who are keen about such translations -it hopes to clear any ambiguity about these and showcase them the gains made by both cultures during the period of their close contact which was during the time of the British Indian empire - the 'Raj' . The ethos and the culture is clearly presented but the India civilization is one of the oldest civilizations, which makes it turbulent trying to explain the sensibilities of one side as expressed in another ones and hence the assumption that I was truly successful cannot be mine unless the reader is convinced about it, because somethings including great civilizations are themselves works-in-progress. So please relax and let the book explain something which may be hidden/lost/unexplained even after all these years of close contact and the continuing Commonwealth interactions.
