Overview

"Aloha to all ocean lovers! The Epic Adventures of Big Binks is a surf adventure for big and little groms that seeks to teach the language of surf (and includes a Surf Lingo for Little Groms glossary), while teaching kids to embrace new experiences. Sam the Clam takes Big Binks on an epic journey, and helps him learn how to speak Seagull, Hawaiian Whale, and Shark Japaneesy. Big Binks soars to epic heights and realizes, ""...all one needs to do is try. With friends, languages, and everything, the limit is the sky."" A portion of the annual proceeds go to the Surfrider Foundation. Visit www.epicliteraryadventures.com for more epic insights."

This book was so good for little dudes!!!! I especially loved the illustrations!!!! I read it to my grandson about 4 times a week. Adorable!!!!! Looking forward to more of this kind. Highly recommend. - Amazon Customer I absolutely loved learning about the language of surfing through the imaginative rhyming dialogue between Big Binks and his friends. I can still envision Big Binks popping up on his surfboard as he crouches low, pulls in deep and rides a tubular tube showing what a serious and happy dude he is riding the waves. What a wonderful book to not only learn the language of surfing but to also teach how all living creatures in our world are interconnected. I bought copies for my young friends and they have loved The Epic Adventures of Big Binks too. Thank you Kate Montero and Christian Kahler for writing a story that children will enjoy reading over and over. -Dianne Potskowski
