Reviews

There is a paradox in modern Cypriot experience: a multiethnic island that has so often dodged the bullet of regional conflict fell victim to the perils of disunity in post-colonial transition. In exploring the dynamics involved, this rich book elucidates a failure spanning communities and rival powers * Robert Holland, erstwhile Visiting Professor Centre for Hellenic Studies, King' College London, UK *
