I adored every interaction, every quip, every deepening layer of faith. Even the cover captures it: windswept, romantic, unashamedly beautiful ... mirroring the story within. Review -- The Englishman and the Novelist is an enchanting, suspenseful novel full of surprises. It is set in Illinois during the 1830s, and the historical content intertwined with the story made it come alive. The story was filled with outlaws on the run, danger, mystery, a budding romance, and lots of humor. ... An interesting and page-turning story. I enjoyed the playful banter and sometimes arguments between Kip and Tanith. The Christian faith is woven within the pages, and I loved Tanith's love of the Lord. Kip is struggling with his faith, locked into an inner secret. There are many twists to the story that kept me guessing. One of the best books I've read this year. I'm a fan and can't wait to read the rest of the series. Review -- What a trip we are taken on! I won't ruin it for you, but will suffice it to say, if you don't read it, you'll truly be missing out on one of the best books this year. Review-- The well-paced storyline kept me engrossed and turning the pages quickly to find out what happened next. In this story, main characters Tanith Blaine, an aspiring novelist, and Kip Fitzpatrick, a British journalist, each with their own goals and personal challenges, are drawn together in an exciting Old West frontier adventure which has its own challenges. Along with this journey, come inspiring faith journeys for both Tanith and Kip and a slowly developing, sweet romantic relationship. Willoughby, the mischievous cat, adds an element of humor to the narrative. Review-- This is a faith filled, true wild west, clean romance and a story that will keep your attention from cover to cover. Come for a visit to Fords Promise and stay for the people and small town feel. Review-- This story was an absolute delight, which is nothing less than I have come to expect from this author. The characters were so picturesquely described, it was as if there was no distance between the pages of the book and myself!
