Overview

Everyone as children have an inbred fear of darkness and what lies therein. Most of us outgrow this fear once we realize that there is nothing to fear . . . Most of us are luckier than we think. But there are a few who continue to see the monsters watching us, and these people are the ones the monsters have an interest in. The Shadows, which lie beyond our realm of reality, are strange, abstract, and by all moral standards, evil. Their objectives and thoughts are unknown, and their existence as a whole is questionable. Where they come from is an equally strange plane of nothingness, an odd reality where there is no light, yet all creatures can see. This place is where a few of us may find ourselves one day . . . And in this place, one man and one woman must fight not only for their freedom, but their survival.
