Author Information

Chevonna Gaylor is a healer. Her avenue for healing is through her role as a licensed marriage and family therapist in California. To expand healing, she also coaches and trains other mental health professionals. As a speaker, Chevonna presents frequently at conferences. Chevonna provides an immediate empathic connection, while maintaining professionalism. She has worked in just about every mental health setting and with most populations over the past 15 years. You name it, she's treated it! Her areas of specialization are: Supporting healing from trauma (all ages); working with adolescents; and coaching other mental health professionals Chevonna possesses a duality of academic experience and insight. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Chevonna is a committed wife, devoted mother and loves to travel.
