He has been involved in EMS since 1982, and has worked as an EMT and Paramedic in both rural and urban environments. An educator since 1987 with a Master's degree in education, Art has been a chief training officer for a metropolitan fire department, a paramedic program director, and has trained both new providers and experienced medical professionals in the finer points of emergency medical care. He is a past president of the National Association of EMS Educators, and has presented at conferences and workshops nationwide. Kevin Boone, BSN, NREMT-P is a Paramedic Captain with the San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD) and has been an active paramedic in San Francisco for the past 20 years. Kevin has been a paramedic program director and primary instructor, and has served as an instructor providing in-service training for the EMTs and paramedics of the SFFD.
