OverviewFIRST PRIZE: Reader's Picks Award: Best SciFi Time Travel Trilogy - 2023 SECOND PRIZE: Firebird Awards: Time Travel Novels - 2024 On the brink of suicide, an insecure grad school drop out lets himself get abducted by kooky time traveling Venusians on a mission to prevent Armageddon by rescuing Jesus H Christ and helping him find the legendary emerald tablets, but when he's cheated by his sources and abandoned by his allies, he must overcome his uncertainties to out-maneuver his rival plotters and the Romans before somebody gets crucified. READER REVIEWS: 5.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't put it down! Reviewed in the United States on December 2, 2023 Verified Purchase I couldn't put down this wild ride that included all my favorite themes: Time travel, historical fiction, and sci-fi of the extraterrestrial kind. The narrator's voice was down-to-earth, though-funny and honest in a way that was easy to follow and made me feel like I was in the action with him. The setting of the Holy Land in Jesus' time was especially accurate (good research!) but not without some fantastical interpretations of what was really going on (enter the Venusians). And who knows what was really going on, anyway? Our hero gets to figure it all out, complete his mission, and get scooped up for another adventure in Book 2-Keep 'em coming! 4.0 out of 5 stars How to Save the World Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2023 Verified Purchase UFOs, Jesus, phasers, light sabers, it's got it all. Fun fast paced adventure in time travel. Well written and actually thought provoking like all good sci-fi should be 5.0 out of 5 stars A Lively, Entertaining Read Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2023 Verified Purchase Rob Manis is a gifted writer.
