Amany Shalaby obtained her bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Ein Shams University in Cairo. She earned her postgraduate diploma in Islamic Studies from Islamic College of Advanced Studies in London. She earned her master's degree in comparative philosophy of religion from Middlesex University, U.K. She works as an author and translator of Islamic spirituality books. Amany is the author of The Essence of Creation. She also authored two children books: Goha and his Donkey and The Big Buffer Fish.
