Overview

Herein, we have the accumulated musings on a lifetime of hunting, fishing, foraging, and plain old poking around the backwoods. Life has afforded many opportunities. From a childhood filled with hunting pheasant and quail, to living in the Rockies, to getting off the ""job"" merry-go-round early, I have been fortunate. Nosing round Mayan ruins, fishing on the sea, and diving in underground caves called cenotes has radically enriched everything I am. This eclectic and perhaps odd collection of stories, poems, recipes and insights spans my lifetime of looking for rocks, mushrooms, and signs to read, scribbled on the firmament of this great Earth. Heed these memoirs well. They will not change your life, but might just bring a smile to your face.
