FINANCE AND CEO OF TRADEIT" Author InformationDavid Bressler is a tech executive and financial coach. His blueprint for building wealth is used by hundreds of people who have taken his online courses or heard him speak. Bressler created his first online course after noticing how many smart people know very little about investing. In his courses he helps recent college graduates, freelancers, franchise owners, doctors, lawyers and others turn the stress of managing money into a fun experience with unique metrics designed to motivate healthy investing behavior. He calls society's failure to address our widespread financial illiteracy the elephant in the room-a problem we know is there but refuse to talk about. A goal of this book is to help people take control of their own financial future by giving the elephant a paycheck- a reference to the dividend payments investors can receive when in- vesting in the stock market. Bressler earned his MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business. By the time he turned 32 he had earned his financial independence and has since continued to build a successful career helping companies improve their business results with technology. His first love, however, is helping beginning investors fall in love with the idea of money making money, just as he did when he was starting out. His financial coaching approach is infused by lessons learned after almost 40 years of teaching martial arts and serving as a rescue diver for a decade off the New York and New Jersey coasts. He is detailed without being complicated, knows how to reinforce key points regardless your learning style, and can help you use the power of habit to build lasting change. Bressler, who still practices martial arts in his rare free time, lives and works in New York City with his wife and two young children. The Elephant in the Room Has a Paycheck is his first book.
