Animals with impaired VN were observed with poor spatial navigation abilities. The purpose of this thesis is to study the effect of muscimol on the spatial recognition of rats. It was found that the neonatal diffusion of muscimol to the VN significantly affected the spatial recognition of rats during dead reckoning test. In the light probe test, which distal visual cues were available, the treated rats spent significantly less time searching for the food pellet (student's t-test: pDOI: 10.5353/th_b4854162 Subjects: Alkaloids - Physiological effectSpace perceptionRats - Physiology Full Product DetailsAuthor: Shek-Fung Kenneth Lam , 林錫峰Publisher: Open Dissertation Press Imprint: Open Dissertation Press Dimensions: Width: 21.60cm , Height: 0.60cm , Length: 27.90cm Weight: 0.413kg ISBN: 9781361303184ISBN 10: 1361303182 Publication Date: 26 January 2017 Audience: General/trade , General Format: Hardback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: Temporarily unavailable The supplier advises that this item is temporarily unavailable.
