Overview

Struck by lightning outside a crumbling church in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Chase dies but is resurrected by the Saints as ""The Edge of God"" to help select individuals whose lives will make a difference. A former atheist, he finds himself battling his lack of belief as well as a rare autoimmune disease that may have been caused by the lightning strike. His health declines while he tries to follow the cryptic and often confusing path the saints lead him down. Pursued by both relic hunters and the Holy See's Protection Unit, life as a future saint is not all he'd hoped. Chase may be God's Edge but he's having a hard time figuring out how to save himself, much less the people the Saints want him to help.
