Bob Henderson, Jr., author of The Fire Tower, has been hunting turkeys for most of his life in and around the great state of Alabama. He is a purist in sport, unwilling to kill turkeys by less than honorable means in the likes of the old pros. He currently lives in Birmingham, AL with his wife and two children. When he's not hunting, he practices dermatology in Alabaster.
