OverviewThis is a revised edition of an earlier book. Many churches have a Sunday celebration for women's day, men's day, and youth day. I believe some churches would expand this celebration to include other information that would be beneficial to members if they had a blueprint to follow. This book is well planned, easy to read and represents the author's true experience. Practical topics are addressed in this book. You will discover how to locate facilities, speakers, vendors, participants, and discover publicity options. You will learn how to determine registration fee and get tips on how to select a caterer. If your church does not have full-time staff to plan a conference, your volunteers will be able to follow the easy steps in this thoroughly written book. Included are sample forms and letters needed to make a conference successful. A bonus titled Five ways to Improve Your Interpersonal Skills is included. This bonus can be used as a tool to develop your volunteer conference committee or it can be used as a stand alone workshop. If you have had a desire to offer your congregation more information on issues like health, financial planning, raising children, substance abuse and other issues that affect their daily living, this is a wonderful book. It will guide you successfully through every step of planning a successful church conference. This book can also be used to plan a family reunion.
