Solstice spent her childhood at a lighthouse in northern Sweden, where she roamed the wilderness and developed a deep connection to the divine spirit of the Earth. She later moved to California, where she was introduced to more formal pagan traditions and teachings. Solstice's studies have included courses on pagan ethics and community building at Cherry Hill Seminary. She is an initiate of the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids, a druid order based in Britain. She has also initiated into and studied with several California based orders. She started and managed an herbal tea and spice company before shifting her focus to writing. Solstice's private practice focuses on living holistically and honoring the Earth. She has raised her three children in an experientially based nature tradition. She is the founder of the Green Witch Collective in Northern California and teaches classes and workshops on visualization, herbal magick, and witchcraft.
