OverviewVirginia Towne lives in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota with her husband, Wesley, and their (almost) Brady Bunch of five children. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Cambridge University and an M.A. in English from Indiana University East. She is an English instructor for Oglala Lakota College, a small tribal college located on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Virginia writes poetry predominantly as catharsis and as the exploration of both joyful and traumatic experiences through imagery and the music of language. Her greatest wish is that her poetry might make someone else feel not quite so alone. This is her first chapbook.
