Author Information

Japie Swanepoel qualified in hotel management in 1989 but went into marketing by starting a hotel marketing company. In 2000 he soon realised the 'gap' in e-marketing in the tourism industry and joined an Internet company to develop their tourism clientele. In 2003 he joined Quirk eMarketing. He obtained a B.Com degree from the University of South Africa (Unisa) in 2004 with business management and economics as majors. He is now the Director of Sales and Marketing at Quirk Business Solutions, and also consults for major South African corporations. He is a recognised expert in the field of e-marketing.
