Berta Maluenda is a Spanish illustrator living in her hometown, Zaragoza, Spain. She has a bachelor's degree in fine arts, a master's degree in drawing and video creation from the University of Granada, and a postgraduate degree in children's illustration that she studied for in Barcelona. In her illustrations she examines the humor and the charm of the everyday, also the poetic and the unexpected, each in its right measure. She thinks with a pencil in her hand, and works it out with digital techniques, although she loves to go back to the brush, watercolors, ink, and color pencils.
