Suzy Hansen had a 28 year professional career in education, school teaching, and counselling. She has been actively involved in UFO research and sighting investigations in New Zealand for 42 years and is the founding Director of the UFO Focus New Zealand Research Network (UFOCUS NZ) established in 2000, a nationwide organisation. As Director of UFOCUS NZ, Suzy lobbied the New Zealand Chief of Defence Forces for the release of the NZ Ministry of Defence UFO files, which occurred in 2010 and 2011. Suzy has lectured internationally at conferences and seminars since 1997, about both New Zealand UFO sightings and her own alien contact and interaction experiences. She has lectured in the USA, Denmark, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. She also speaks publicly on spiritual and metaphysical topics. Suzy has featured in internet, YouTube, radio, TV, newspaper/magazine interviews, and documentaries (including 60 Minutes: The Truth is out there, National Geographic channel's Alien Invasion: UFO Conspiracies, and Korean Television), and writes for international UFO magazines. She is the author of The Dual Soul Connection - the Alien Agenda for Human Advancement, with US astrophysicist, Dr. Rudy Schild as contributor. Suzy's focus for the last decade has been on encouraging members of the scientific community to participate in examining the wealth of science-related detail contained in accounts of human interactions with extraterrestrial species/consciousness, as well as aspects of UFO sighting investigation data relating to technology and physics.
