The Dowe Twins books were created to get the twins more engaged in reading. The Twins had no idea that they would end up publishing their work. The More2Learn Series helps children to learn in a fun and less traditional way. The Dowe Twins are on a mission to address some of the learning issues that plague their peers. They are working to develop solutions that they hope will provide additional benefits for kids everywhere!

Author Information

A.K. Dowe, an author on a mission to provide her twins with an understanding of the ways books are used to help kids learn. Wanting to show her kids that books all have a different purpose, she started writing with them. She was able to show them that the words in books can be used to teach lessons or share someone's views. Starting with the intention only to help her kids turned into two series of children's books. The More2Learn series that delivers lessons in a fun way and the He & She series which gives a look into the minds of siblings. With youth on her mind she decided to take it one step further. She invites young artist to have an opportunity to bring the Dowe Twins and their stories alive. Providing them with a platform to highlight their artistic skills, with hopes to help youth artist build their portfolio and possibly start their career as an illustrator. All of the Dowe Twins books are inspired by the two kids we know as The Dowe Twins.
