What was it about that shack across the field in Felix's neighborhood? He had to find out, even though he had never been out of Mike and Nora's yard. This time was different. But what he found inside the shack was shocking-a young Maine Coon like himself! When the kitten told him that her name was Guava and that brother Mango had pulled open the door to the closet inside the shack and disappeared inside, Felix decided to enlist the aid of his friends and investigate that closet. Once he talked his friends into it-Freddy and Fiocco, Maine Coon cats like himself; Kab, a greyhound; Lukan, a wolf; and Rolph, a Rhodesian Ridgeback dog-they crawled through the tunnel under their street and paid a visit to the shack during a full moon at midnight. Pulling on a thick rope tied to the back door of the shack, they were astonished at what they say on the other side. It was no longer midnight-it was a sunny day! But more shocking than that was that what they saw wasn't a suburban neighborhood, but a woodsy field with human huts in the distance.
