Overview

Oxford, 2050. Britain is fractured. The Divide – a vast wall – splits the country from Kent to Cumbria. Families and lovers are torn apart. Vicki Lloyd was born in London and has worked across Britain and Europe as an archaeologist. Now living in Oxford, she holds degrees in Latin and English, as well as a Master’s in Creative Writing. Over the course of her career, she has also worked as a journalist, copy-editor, writer. Her debut novel, And the Sea Darkened, was published in 2020.
