OverviewThis paper aims to conduct a comparative analysis of the representation of journalists in the American fictional series House of Cards and The Newsroom, based on the hypothesis that there is a tendency to reproduce stereotypes of journalists in fictional series, sometimes as villains, sometimes as heroes. The study seeks to analyze the ways in which journalists are represented by the entertainment industry, taking into account the model of the professional in the United States.
