Eileen Sammons Tidwell is a lifelong Christian horsewoman and the trainer of the stallion Oreo Van Tyke. She kept a diary of his experiences on her web site Barndoors.com, from the time she purchased him as a two-year-old until his death in 2011. She lives with her husband and their many animals west of Fort Worth, Texas.
