Overview

The Depth of it All is the sequel to Water Signs, following Elayne and Guy through their new romantic journey together as they rekindle their love. Traveling by car and train first through California, and then boarding the Mexican train at the border. Their adventure on the train to the Yucatan was primitive and beautiful, just like their relationship, as they make their way to the Mayan ruins before heading back. There is the romance and the tears that come when Guy needs to go to work deep-sea diving. Yes, Elayne is left alone again, but other things happen as the months go by. You will cry at one point, but don't set the book down; it all turns out quite beautifully, and you will find out what happened to Frank; that's really ""The Depth of it All"".
