Overview

Alex wakes up in the hospital after receiving a mysterious package, realizing that being an investigative journalist has never been more dangerous. His deteriorating health is a testament to this peril. Ever since his source vanished without a trace, the threats have intensified. Taking down major political players comes with significant risks, but Alex wonders if he could have done more to protect his source. The arrival of the mysterious package complicates matters further, with its cryptic content alluding not only to his current dealings but also to his past. Why? It was his love of philosophy, and poetry, which motivated Vaughn to write his first self-published bundle, which subsequently unlocked the passion of writing from within; feeling that a novel should, at the very least, address the issues of the day, whilst providing some insight, to allow the reader to identify with the character, as they embark on a journey of self-discovery together.
