Merrie; This is a wonderful book! It mixes Tudor England history, mystery and romance into a wonderful tangle of a tale. The characters are extremely well-written and the plot pulls you into the story quickly and completely. BlingSupreme; Wow, this has it all: great characters, romance and so much intrigue. I was up all night trying to finish it. There are several plots and subplots and you can't miss a thing. L Walker; As a frequent reviewer of books, I am often intrigued by the plot summary but find myself extremely disappointed upon reading the book. In this case, I was pleasantly surprised. This is an excellently written historical fiction novel/murder mystery that was a delight to read. It is rare to find ebooks these days where the author has actual literary acumen; an author who uses vocabulary that would cause one to reach for a dictionary or sentences with prose so rich that the reader has to stop and read the sentence again to appreciate the statement. I found myself in awe at multiple times during the reading of this (lengthy) novel and I very much enjoyed the story.

My passion is for late English medieval history, I have written six historical fiction novels set around this period, but I also have a love of fantasy and the wild freedom of imagination that this brings. My trilogy 'Stars and a Wind' is a wonderful example of that freedom. And for all the younger readers, I have just released the latest installment of my Children's fantasy series, Bannister's Muster. Although some of my books have romantic undertones, they are not purely romances. There is adventure, crime, mystery and suspense with lots of twists and drama.
