Overview

It's May 2014 and Israel is gearing up to invade Gaza for the third time in six years. On the streets of London a Jewish critic of Israel is killed, the target of a militant Zionist organisation. Zach Peretz is no Sherlock Holmes, but he does share a defining characteristic with the great detective: he's a cocaine addict. He also has a case to solve. Who killed his brother Abe? Abe's ex-wife Hepzibah is on the same mission. A Jewish, pro-Palestine journalist specialising in the Middle East, she's an unlikely ally for Zach. Despite their clashing views on Israel and drug addiction, Zach and Hepzibah join forces with a consuming determination to find the people responsible for Abe's death.
