The Deadly Life of Diana Penn: Wingspan Pocket Edition

Overview

All Diana Penn wanted was a quiet retirement. What she got was a chance to rewrite history. When a demolition crew uncovers unexploded WWII bombs in a quiet Northumberland park, retired MI6 agent Diana Penn instantly senses danger. But before she can act, the bombs detonate. Instead of peace, Diana wakes up in December 1944, in the body of her younger self: a Land Army girl posted in a seemingly sleepy English town. Beneath the wartime camaraderie and village gossip, predators lurk and suspicious activities hint at dangers far greater than German spies. Armed with knowledge of the future and the instincts of a seasoned operative, Diana must race to prevent catastrophe. Because this time, dying isn't the end-it's only the beginning. A gripping wartime thriller with a time-bending twist, The Deadly Life of Diana Penn is a powerful new addition to the acclaimed Middle Falls universe.

Author Information

Kirsten McKenzie fought international crime for fourteen years as a Customs Officer in both England and New Zealand, before leaving to work in the family antique store. Now a full time author, she lives in New Zealand with her family and alternates between writing time travel trilogies and polishing her next thriller. Her spare time is spent organising author events and appearing on literary panels at various festivals around the world. Shawn Inmon is a small town kid who dreamed of being a writer. He worked several dozen different jobs - retail, real estate, traveling with the Unlimited Hydroplanes, crabbing in Alaska, morning disc jockey and station manager, and quite a few others he can't remember to list. These jobs gave him a wonderful base to write what he knows, because he knows a little about a lot. He achieved his dream of becoming a full time writer in 2016 and has never looked back. One reviewer called him ""The King of Redemption stories."" Shawn says he doesn't feel like a king of anything, but he does love a good tale of second chances. He is the author of the ever-growing Middle Falls Time Travel series, 18 books and counting, and the Alex Hawk Time Travel Adventure series. He is also the author of Feels Like the First Time, a bestselling memoir of growing up in a small town in the seventies, falling in love, and messing everything up.
