Written with deep knowledge of the complex and sometimes confusing mental health condition, borderline personality disorder (BPD), it provides a clear path to improved family relationships. Based on many years of experience working with families of individuals with BPD, it brings compassion, kindness, and wisdom to all involved without compromising fidelity to DBT principles. Highly recommended."" --Tania Alexander, clinical psychologist, and director of the DBT Psychology Clinic in Sydney, Australia--Tania Alexander ""This user-friendly guide empowers families and friends to understand and more effectively connect with emotionally volatile loved ones.
