In the dead of night, a spaceship soars over the hills surrounding Bath. It is forced to crash-land on Earth and Jai, the alien, and his Grampy emerge to find a strange new world as they are greeted by a group of inquisitive local children. They embark on extraordinary adventures, discovering the wonders of Earth and the magic of friendship. In 2024, St John’s Foundation turned 850 years old. To celebrate their milestone anniversary, the charity embarked on a special project that harnessed the creative minds of 192 primary pupils from seven local schools in Bath and North East Somerset. The children featured within these pages are now published authors, and it is their hard work, imagination, and enthusiasm that have brought this magical story to life. Through this project, we aim to highlight the incredible power of reading and literature.
