The Day Of: Freedom is the 6th and final book of the series. Years have passed since the 2nd Civil War. Though the scars it left behind and the evidence of it are clear to anyone that's looking. But that is the problem, no one is. The stories of War, The Free Republic, Camron Reese and the Shadow of Death are now just that.... Stories. More like folk lore than facts. Purposely diminished by the US government to control the narrative. This doesn't sit well with our remaining group, especially Cam. Our remaining group is older now. The Once revered heroes of The Battle of Serling Ridge are now a very small footnote in history, whispered about when walking around town. Forced to sign gag orders by the government years ago, the group is made to never speak of anything from that time period. The penalty for breaking that order is death. After a series of events, Cam and the rest of the group feel compelled to break their silence and tell the world the true story, and Cam has the perfect tool to do it.... this story he has been writing for years, the one you are reading. Cam and the group need to find a way to hit the maximum amount of people, in the most minimal amount of time. All while trying to not be killed for doing it. He realizes in short order, once a plan comes together, that doing this will cost him his life. He will have to accept that fate to tell the truth, and to make all of the lives lost during the war mean something. In true The Day Of fashion.... the story is being told directly to you, as the reader, as it's being written for you. - And once again, this story is not for people that do not want to read foul language, hear about war and the death and the destruction that comes with it. - This is not a children's book. - Everyone else, please enjoy!!
