Katherine Southern has always been interested and involved in the creative arts. She was a make-up artist on movies and commercials for several years, traveling the world and has recently left the business to pursue several of her favourite things to do. She loves writing, painting, singing and playing the piano. Katherine has been published before and honourably mentioned in some writing contests. The book, The David and Goliath Factor is based on an experience which she and her husband went through. They represented themselves against a bank in court. It was a challenging experience that happened several years ago. Katherine finally wrote the book because she heard on the radio and the internet that self representing yourself in court had become a world-wide phenomena. The courts were starting to appoint people to help self-represented lay litigants, conduct themselves properly in court.The book The David and Goliath Factor is the story of their experience in court, representing themselves and what they needed to do and learn to win their case. An honest story about the little person up against the big corporation.
