The Darwinian Genocide in Africa

Overview

In the 1800s and early 1900s, tens of thousands of Europeans journeyed to Africa to steal African wealth and force the native people to become slaves. The Africans who resisted faced a level of brutality previously unknown in Europe or Africa. Native African peoples put up a strong but futile defense against the Europeans' powerful guns and cannons. As a result, over a million indigenous inhabitants of Africa were murdered. In addition to greed, the main justification for this genocide was the Social Darwinian belief that Africans were biologically inferior humans. Social Darwinism was close to universally believed because it was supported by the day's leading scientists. The belief that Adam and Eve were the parents of all people living today, White and Black, negates the belief that Blacks are less evolved than Whites. Rejection of Genesis opened the door that allowed the Europeans to plunder the lands and people of Africa. In contrast, Christian missionaries who accepted the Genesis teaching about the Edenic origin of all humans and the command of loving your neighbor, eventually, after much struggle, forced the end of the African holocaust. The result was over half of Africa converted to Christianity. Indigenous religions are now practiced by very few people, and most of southern Africa is now Christian.

Reviews

""In this book, Dr. Bergman has done an outstanding job of exposing the skewed thinking of the European elites, based on Darwinian 'scientific racism' in justifying the many atrocities committed in their colonization of Africa during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. This book reveals the shocking history of European colonial genocide in Africa, a story which has long needed greater exposure than it has generally received."" --Kirk Toth, Concertmaster, Toledo Symphony Orchestra ""Dr. Jerry Bergman's book, The Darwinian Genocide in Africa, highlights one of the dark periods in world history. During the late nineteenth century, 'The Scramble for Africa' began in earnest. Thirteen European countries carved up Africa in a manner that best suited their colonial aspirations. This European superiority prompted the horrors and rapacity so poignant within the African holocaust. The battle to reveal decades of perverted historical narratives and bring forth truth always demands perseverance. To that end, Jerry Bergman has dedicated his life to defending biblical truth as God has granted him the strength and ability to do so."" --David Herbert, Historian
