Overview

This is my story of the events that transpired after a workplace injury in 2013. My story of endless legal appointments, medical evaluations, work injury system frustration, self-doubts, and my mistreatment from all those who said they were there to help me. I found myself in a very dark place following my accident, journaling my inner thoughts throughout my recovery was my only outlet for my medical and legal frustrations. Through endless backyard coffees and cigarettes, I contemplated the pressure that had been placed on my loyal wife, son, extended family, and friends. The depths of my depression took its toll, and I woke up some days wishing to end it all. This book aims to help others in similar circumstances to fight the system and never give up, otherwise my years of torment outlined in this book, would have been for nothing.
